Bank Bound Carp Socials was born out of a simple belief: carp fishing is at its best when shared with good people. Having spent over 30 years targeting UK carp waters and running community socials that raised vital funds for military veterans, I know first-hand how much bankside camaraderie matters.
While our journey began with charity sessions, the heart behind what we do hasn’t changed.
Today, Bank Bound hosts lake-exclusive carp fishing socials across premier UK and European fisheries.
We take away the rush for pegs, the match-style pressure, and the crowded banks, giving you an organized session focused on great fishing, shared banter, and genuine bankside community.

I’m Barry and I’ve been fishing UK carp waters for over 30 years. Like many carp anglers, I’ve had my share of busy day-ticket banks, rushed arrivals, bucketing swims and stressful peg scrambles.
I created Bank Bound to fix that—with lake-exclusive bookings, a welcoming social vibe, and our unique pairs draw that gives mates the best chance of sharing adjacent swims.
Every angler—whether turning up solo or with mates—will feel part of the bankside community from the moment they arrive.
Before Bank Bound became what it is today, our community came together on the bank to support Veterans in Communities (VIC). Over four years of shared socials, laughs, and memories, generous anglers helped raise more than £10,000 for veterans and their families.
Giving back remains a cornerstone of our bankside culture. We will continue to use our platform and sessions to support causes close to our hearts, proving that carp fishing can be a powerful force for mental wellbeing, mate-ship, and positive impact.
