The Boys vs Girls Carp Social is coming to Bank Bound in September 2027, bringing something completely unique, hilarious, and memorable to the bank.

This isn’t going to be your average, serious fishing social.

We’re bringing together two teams, two captains, and one legendary lake for 72 hours packed with pure fun, friendly rivalry, lake-side pranks, endless banter, and non-stop jokes from start to finish.

📋 BOYS VS GIRLS CARP SOCIAL DETAILS

• ⏳ 72 Hours Fishing: Starting Thursday 2nd September 2027.
• 🏞️ Venue: The iconic Orchid Lakes.
• 👨‍🍳 Qualified Chef: On-site preparing fresh food throughout the social.
• 🍳 3 Fresh Breakfasts: Cooked and delivered straight to your swim.
• 🍽️ Friday Evening Meal: Hot, freshly prepared evening meal.
• 🍔 Saturday BBQ Social: Top-quality BBQ gather with the full group, including the legendary “Bank Bound Bucket” for PBs broken!
• 🏆 Sunday Presentation: Winners announced and awards presented alongside Sunday morning breakfast after packing down.

👨 TEAM BOYS VS 👩 TEAM GIRLS

The event will be a full 11 vs 11 team showdown, with each team made up of:

• 1 Captain
• 10 Anglers

That’s just 22 places in total.

THE CAPTAINS:

• Team Girls Captain: We are proud to announce that the ladies will be led by young, talented angler Evie Morgan (sponsored by Mainline Baits & Korda Tackle)!
• Team Boys Captain: Team Boys will be captained by none other than the self proclaimed “Noddy Fisherman” Tom McDonough, AKA “Chunkster”!

Now that both captains are locked in, angler places are open for anyone wanting to represent their side in this one-of-a-kind Bank Bound experience!

🏆 POINTS, PRANKS & CAPTAIN TASKS

This entire social is built around points, laughs, and pure bank-side entertainment!

Throughout the 72 hours, both teams will battle it out in a fully points-based competition. Points will be awarded across multiple categories:

• Fishing Catches: Earning valuable team points for fish landed on the scales.
• Captain Tasks: Special head-to-head challenges set specifically for Evie and Chunkster to lead their teams!
• Prank Tasks & Mini Games: Friendly wind-ups, secret lake-side missions, and hilarious team challenges.
• Bank-Side Banter: Who can keep their cool, adapt, and work together as a team under pressure?

We are keeping a few secret prank tasks and surprise challenges under wraps for now, but prepare yourself for one hell of a fun weekend! 👀

Home to stunning, heavy carp and rich carp-fishing history!

Set in the Oxfordshire countryside, Orchid Lakes is legendary in the carp angling world. Known for its picturesque surroundings, superb water quality, and exceptional stock of hard-fighting mirror and common carp, it provides the ultimate backdrop for our 11 vs 11 battle.

The main lake boasts an incredible stock of over 400 carp, packed with heavy specimens including over 80 x 30lb+ fish, 30+ 40lb+ giants, and a colossal lake record standing at 51lb 8oz!

With plenty of feature-rich swims, quality water coverage, and fish that know how to push your tackle to the limit, both teams will have every opportunity to rack up points on the scales while enjoying a premier venue.
