Bank Bound Carp Socials — Terms & Conditions
By booking or attending a Bank Bound Social, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing scary here — it’s just to keep things clear, fair, and running smoothly for everyone on the bank.
1. About Bank Bound Carp Socials
Bank Bound Carp Socials organises exclusive venue bookings and carp fishing socials for anglers who want quality fishing, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere via bankboundsocials.co.uk.
By booking a swim, you agree to follow these terms and fish in the right spirit.
2. Bookings & Payments
1. All social bookings must be made in advance through bankboundsocials.co.uk or an officially approved booking channel
2. A initial booking deposit is required to reserve your swim on a Bank Bound Social.
3. The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline specified in your booking confirmation and balance reminder notifications.
4. If your balance is not paid by the required date and you haven’t contacted us to arrange an extension, we reserve the right to release your swim to the waiting list and retain your deposit.
5. Your booking is only fully confirmed once all required payment installments have been received.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations are governed by our separate Cancellation Policy, which forms a binding part of these Terms & Conditions.
In summary:
1. More than 4 weeks’ notice: Refund of balance paid beyond non-refundable deposit (minus processing fees).
2. 2–4 weeks’ notice: 50% refund of remaining balance.
3. Less than 2 weeks: No refund, unless your swim is successfully filled by another angler.
Please refer to the full Cancellation Policy page on the site for complete details.
4. Swim Transfers & Guest Swaps
If you can’t attend an event, you may transfer your place to another angler with prior approval from us. You must notify us in advance so we have the correct angler names on the fishery gate list for venue security.
5. Fishing, Venue Rules & Behaviour
Bank Bound Carp Socials is built on respect and community spirit.
We require that all attending anglers:
1. Comply fully with all specific venue rules, fish care guidelines, and fishery regulations set by the host water.
2. Handle all fish safely and responsibly with appropriate unhooking and care gear.
3. Show respect to fellow anglers, venue bailiffs, and Bank Bound event team members.
4. Keep the social friendly — banter is always welcome, bad attitudes are not.
Anyone exhibiting abusive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour that spoils the experience or compromises fish safety may be removed from the event immediately without a refund.
6. Alcohol & Substances
Our socials are about enjoying time on the bank, not getting carried away.
1. Alcohol is permitted only where allowed by host venue rules, and must be consumed responsibly at all times.
2. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited across all Bank Bound events.
3. If an angler’s behaviour becomes disruptive or unsafe due to alcohol or substance use, they will be asked to pack down and leave the venue.
7. Health, Safety & Personal Property
Carp fishing is an outdoor activity near water, and conditions can vary. By attending a Bank Bound Social, you accept full responsibility for:
1. The safety, maintenance, and operation of your own tackle, camping equipment, and personal belongings.
2. Conducting yourself safely around the water and venue grounds.
Bank Bound Carp Socials cannot be held liable for personal accidents, injuries, or loss/damage to personal property unless caused directly by our proven negligence.
8. Weather Conditions
This is UK carp fishing — weather happens!
Socials will go ahead in standard weather conditions (rain, cold, or wind). Events will only ever be postponed or cancelled if conditions are officially deemed dangerous or unsafe by fishery management, in which case you will be offered a full refund or transfer.
9. Photography & Media
We frequently capture high-quality photos and video coverage during our socials for community updates, website features, and social media channels.
If you prefer not to appear in public promotional media, simply let us know before or at the start of the social — no awkwardness at all!
10. Event Changes
We reserve the right to:
1. Make reasonable adjustments to event schedules or swim allocation procedures if needed.
2. Substitute venue waters in exceptional circumstances or emergency fishery closures.
3. Cancel or reschedule events due to circumstances beyond our control.
If any significant changes occur, we will communicate with all booked anglers immediately.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bank Bound Carp Socials accepts no liability for indirect losses, damage to personal tackle, or personal injury sustained during an event. Participation is at your own risk.
12. Data Protection
Your personal details and booking data are managed strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never sell or misuse your data.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
